unexpected kindness from the staff

The warm welcome at Hotel Gabarda was lovely. A friendly barman made the best cocktails, and I fell in love with the spacious balcony view.

While the room was generally clean, I discovered the mattress was quite firm, made my sleep less restful than I hoped. Wi-Fi was spotty on the second floor.

Cool hotel, the food is excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed fantastic location. The building is lovely and the rooms are tidy and absolutely perfect with air con, extra bed and fresh towels. Have a drink at the snack bar.

I had a lovely breakfast cooked to order every day. The staff welcomed us, especially Antonio, who always had a smile and made us laugh. The outdoor pool area was nice, just a short walk away. I enjoyed my time and appreciated the hospitality.

The bathroom layout was a little cramped, and I found the mattress on the harder side, which interrupted my sleep at times.

The twin room is modern and spotless.

The service was perfect with friendly staff always ready to help (shoutout to the bar staff!). Enjoyed lounging by the outdoor swimming pool and the beach is just a quick stroll away. Car hire was super convenient for exploring the area too.

Although overall clean, the housekeeping could be a bit more consistent, particularly with surfaces during the busy hours.

The breakfast is sensational, excellent food. It has incredible and welcoming staff.

During my stay, the staff consistently impressed with their attentiveness. I particularly enjoyed the cleanliness of my room and the high-quality breakfasts they offered. Though the room had minor noise disturbances, it didn’t hinder my overall experience at this good hotel, close to the beach.
